Macy's Gift to the City of San Francisco and the most recognized Christmas tree will be officially lit in Union Square Friday, November 25, 2011.. This year the tree lighting celebration will include special guest Johnny Weir, a visit from Santa and much more! This year's beautiful 80-foot Fir tree will be covered in 21,000 energy-efficient twinkling LED lights.
Holiday Beauty Tent- Visit the M.A.C. Cosmetics tent during the day for holiday beauty tips, and be sure to come back after johnny Weir's performance to meet the Olympian in person.

For the eighth year, Macy's has made UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital the beneficiary of its annual tree lighting. Donations to Benefit the UCSF Benioff Hospital for Pediatric Cancer Research - Stop by the Aflac tent and purchase a Macy's Aflac duck - 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of the Aflac plush duck from Bay Area Macy's stores will benefit USCF Benioff Children's Hospital Compass Care Program.
